Just wondering how far up the road is driveable now. Is the snow off most of the way? Someone on here must have been up that way recently.

You can't quite get to Shop 3 at 37.5 mile because of all the fallen trees across the road. Once past this obstacle the road is snow covered from 43 mile on. We will be starting to plow snow into the G-main and the Elaho main as early as next Monday.

I poked up into the Ashlu Sunday. Not bad up to the second bridge, just after the fork in the road. Then a bit of snow, a few blow downs, then a big slide across the road before the dam.

And no bears:-(

Any plans to plow up that way Squire?

Remember that there is a road closure on the Ashlu past mile 30 at Picket Cr and the Elaho at mile 50.5 from April 1st to June 15th.

Identify your target, lots of grizz up that way.

Sorry, no development or activity planned in the Ashlu in the near future.

There is a 'no vehicle' restriction to protect Grizzly Bears on the Ashlu past mile 30 at Picket Cr and the G-main at mile 50.5 from April 1st to June 15th. There is no such vehicle restriction on the Elaho main.

The G-main is the branch that crosses the big bridge at 43 mile on the Elaho and follows the West side of the Elaho River.
