So my brother wants to come hunting in the mountains with me this fall. In the early season, we can just rock the siltarp. But come the later season I find a tent is always a little more comfortable. Only problem is he's 5 foot 20 inches. Are there any lightweight 2man(3 man is probably more realistic) tents on the market that fits someone that is that long?

I can't recommend a specific tent however are you saying your brother is 6 feet 8 inches?

How well does he sleep in the fetal position.....???

Sorry I can't be more help. I know my Nallo2 GT would occomodate him, but he'd have to utilize the "carport"....

Any two meter tent should fit
Or he would have to leave his feet in his boots out in the vestibule
carport :)

I'm 6'4" and have plenty of room in the Hilleberg Allak. Two guys will fit and you both have your own side zip entrance which is nice. I have never actually used it as a 2 man but it would be fine I am sure.

I'm not making you do anything. I'm just wondering how tall his brother is. It might make it a little easier for someone to answer his question if his brothers size is made clear. Carry on.....

Ah ha yeah he's 6'8" and the most restless sleeper I've ever known. Individual openings would be great. And worst case scenario some gear could go under the siltarp.

Sounds like he needs a 2-man tent to himself. I use a Carbon Reflex 2 as a solo tent and love it. Lots of room and no bother from restless sleepers.
