There are 2 roads into the area, walker creek and pass lk rd. The area is thick to hunt. Snow can be an issue for access. There are slides near the kakwa up walker creek to hunt but you have to get across the river which can be a bitch. There are some slides way up the end of the pass creek access but they are north exposure and slow to open up. Snow is once again a problem up there. Have fun, some big country up there.

Swampthing summed things up pretty good. Chances are the snow will keep you out of there until the 3rd week of May, give or take. The Macgregor is a piece of water not to be taken lightly. Beautiful country, especially if you like devil's club.

Better go try and get one, could be your last chance at a grizzy hunt in BC.

If your from out of town and you can only go once. You'd be smartest to come for the last week of the season. That would be your best bet for getting through the snow.
