can anyone give me a positive id on this hawk, thinking Ruff Legged Hawk???? from the Quesnel area

I think you are right with guessing a Rough-Legged. Brown tips outside the white underneath the wings.

P.S. Are you going to be in your usual spring turkey spot this year? Exams start on the 15th for me so I won't be there until the 20th.
