Hey all,

I'm new to this site and to hunting but looking forward to getting started. After reading posts it seems the best thing to get started here is to introduce myself so here we go. I'm a 25 year old male just getting started in the hunting world. I currently completing my Resource Management Officer Technology diploma at Vancouver Island University and will be moving back to the mainland. I work for Metro Vancouver Parks East District and have been in the Army Reserves for the last 8 years with the Royal Westminster Regiment and the Canadian Scottish Regiment and have 2 deployments to Afghanistan.

Thanks for taking the time to read this,

Good luck with school and with your new passion of hunting.

Thanks, as well, for your service.

Maybe start a thread about what you did and saw in Afghanistan if you are up to sharing. I, for one, would be very interested in what life was like there. No need to get heavy, just day to day stuff.

Welcome to the site and the world of hunting..

Three brothers are traveling along a road, and their car dies. They all get out of the car, and start walking to a barn that's a little ways away. When they get there, the farmer comes out of the barn, and offers them a room for one night.
He says to the first one, "You can sleep with the pigs," the second guy," you can sleep with the cows", and the third guy, "I like the cut of your jib. You can sleep with my 18 duaghters."
The next morning, he asks everyone how they slept. The first man said, "I slept like a pig."
The second man said ,"I slept like a cow."
The third guy said, "I slept like a rabbit. I jumped from hole, to hole, to hole."
