Anyone out for a bear today?

So spring bear started today (in most regions anyways) did anyone go out to try their luck?

Leaving around 3ish today to go see if those 2 bears I saw on Friday are around

still a little to much like winter up here. did try for wolves this weekend but only saw lotsa tracks. another week or two for bears i think.

Went up Squamish on the weekend. Still 2 weeks away if the weather holds ! But on the lower the skunk cabbage is starting to come out.

Nope. 2nd week of may for me. Was hoping to see one yesterday in Pitt Meadows from the canoe but no luck. Tons of big old carp though

Yup, went out today, saw nothing. Not too surprised since I haven't cut any sign while hunting cats for the past few weeks.

Found four GREEN roads today and a really far ahead alder bog/swamp looking for sheds today, shoots everywhere and several BIG rocks were freshly flipped over.... Going to be a good bear spot.

i walked into a blackie yesterday while doing some scouting with no rifle... yikes..

ill be out this coming saturday and sunday looking for my first.. and every weekend after till i have success - i miss hunitng season!!

Just got back from afternoon hunt. Saw the same 2 bears today as I saw them on last Friday as well. No shot because the face was all rubbed and bald and had a late last year cub with it. Thinking sow. Watch them for about 45 mins eatting. Snapped some pics

Went out yesterday for more of a quad ride, but did go prepared! Saw nothing but sunshine and open spaces.
