That G15 is one helluva camera, will be my next one if I ever have to buy again, never buy a SLR again, friend in Whitehorse has one and can't believe the pics that she takes on auto.

Got roughly 2300 on file since mid December, so figured it were about time to start sifting through a uploading the ones that actually resembled what I was trying to capture........:-D

Had originally decided on the G-12, but by the time I got around to it the G-15 was out, and in a smaller faster package. Spend most of my time in "P" mode, as I like to chase light and tweak settings as I learn, but I'm not quite ready for "Manual" mode yet.........:-D

The dog doesn't look to happy to be outside, that's a funny one. The mallard and the yellow flowers are especially good, I have tried a few close ups of flowers in the alpine but they didn't look nearly as good as that. What camera do you actually have, not familiar with what a G 15 is.

The drive mode is a game changer, especially for me coming from a regular P&S camera. The dog pic and goalie pic were both taken in full drive mode, where the camera keeps shooting as long as the shutter button is depressed.

Burst mode is great too, if you have a short window with lots of activity, as it bangs off 10 frames in about a second.

That's a nice camera, takes some really nice pictures and not too big in size.
