hmmm the higher the snow pack above average..the greater the percentage that the snow will slide..slides will attract the bears..hence a great spring for seeking out those south facing slide chutes..

Theres the voice of experience and the silver lining. I walk on 1-2 ft of snow for km after km and then hit the right aspect with a slide that ripped the snow right clean. A magnet! If you are willing to walk, snow shoe, ski ....... kind of need to anyway as they can hear vehicles coming for miles.
