General Open Seasons for Mule (blacktailed) Deer have been amended. The Nov 15-Nov 20 antlerless season has been closed, the Sept 1-Sept 30 either sex bow only season is now open to bucks only, and the 3 pt buck season from Nov 1-Nov 30 is now a 4 pt buck season. A LEH only antlerless season in 7-20 Zone A from Dec 1-Dec 20 has been implemented.

That sucks. Who is going to drive from the LML to shoot a doe? Time of season sucks with coordinating it with the antlerless elk LEH. You only get 20 days to multi species a trip, and you have to get an elk LEH or a elk and doe to make it worth the trip. And the doe draw doesn't co encode with any holidays for people to take time to do a late season doe hunt!

Trying to reduce the overall harvest and still keep some opportunities open. Overall mulie population is down considerably from previous years plus long winter this year hasnt helped the situation

A month bow season for bucks...nobody should snicker at that opportunity.

ya i think its a good change.
it could be much worse and they change back to one every other year or change up all the other species as well.
