5 years of sheds from the same Muley buck

These are pics of sheds of the same buck I watched and picked up sheds from for 4 years. I found a smaller older bleached out shed from him when he was younger as well.

I didnt mention that the picture of him is from November of 1996 and the last time I saw him was the winter of 98. I did hunt for him but never saw him.

Thats the beauty of shed hunting. Sometimes picking up a trophies sheds is as close to getting him as you'll get

Nice to collect the sheds from the same deer over the year ,,tell us about the right single shed did someone else find the left side or do you think it is still out there somewhere ???.

What a cool buck, thats cool that you were able to keep tabs on him like that. Looks like he never did improve his G-2's. How much did his score change from year to year?

His g-2s were always short like that. That's how I knew it was him plus I picked up all his sheds in a square kilometer area. I did score them but can't remember exactly what they were. I think the year he had the typical frame he grossed just over 170, and I think the biggest was just over 200 nt.

I've picked up multiple years off of numerous bucks over the years but I think I've only had 5 years off the same buck once, and I had help from my buddies to acheive that. These pics only show 3 sets but we have 2 singles from the previous 2 years. We called him the Coke Can Buck. I only saw him 2 of the 5 years and never during hunting season.

I was fortunate enough to follow one particular buck for 5 of 6 years and find 3 sets and 1 single off of him before harvesting him in the 6th year.

Steve, picture with the coke can what are you thinking for ages? How was the score improving each year?

I'd estimate he was 5 years old in the top set. Yr 6 was never found. Yr 7 is the middle set and was his best year that we know and was the only year he carried a hook cheater. Yr 8 is the bottom set. Score was never really big. 170-180 frame for most of the years. The coke can mass carried throughout.

Hunter1947, I never heard of anyone finding the match to the right shed off that buck at the start of this thread. That was back in 1997, nobody looked for sheds that I knew of.
Dana, these sheds look similar to your buck you posted in the last few pics. I have another shed off the same buck when he was younger.

Another buck that looks simalar is the on posted by the member tooly. I think it was spelled tooly. Mass all the way to the top, very unique.
