I was wondering if you can still drive to the lake ? I have heard rumor the road is washed out and if theres somebody out there that can tell me if the bowser river is boatable .

Run a small river boat up into the lake. Shouldn't be too difficult.

tough boat launching though it would have to be a boat you could man handle.....and it is not a gentle section of river....
