8-9 big horn sheep LEH

Going to put in for a bighorn in 8-9 for this season.
Who has been drawn before ? How many were sucessfull? Ive seen a full curl ram inside the leh map for the bighorns altho it was two years ago and havnt seen one since... "Inside the leh area"

Any advice? My back and legs are good so id like to try and get a ram atleast one before i start gettin old

I saw a picture of a wirey, old(okay,not that old) sheep veteran in the WSSBC mag posing with a nice mature cail ram from 8-09. He might even be a member of HBC:-D.

With odds at 75:1 you will be old by the time you get a tag. Thats being said why not sheep hunt now while you are still young, regions like 3-17, 3-31 and 3-32 all have a general open seasons.

Why waste the good years hoping for a tag when you can be hunting. Go ahead and apply (you never know) but instead of trying to get info and learn an area that you may never hunt, one should be trying to figure out the open areas and actually hunt them every year.

I am going to apply for 8-9 this year... maybe they will screw up and give me the kamloops draw instead, similar to my G Bear draw results :):)

Or I am using Reverse Pychology (Jedi/sheep hunter mind tricks) and getting the people to think I am trying to steer them away from ther LEH then they will apply anyway. While the whole time I am hunting the above zones all by myself (well maybe not 3-17). You weak minded folks will never know:):):)

I've been trying for that sheep draw for 5 years now with no luck lol. Like BHB said, the odds are 75-1 for that area and only 6 or 7 draws available.
