Since the hunting seaon is pretty much over, why dont we tell a couple hunting stories we'v had in the past, or stories you may have read. Even stories you have been told.

[hunter1947]

I was attack buy a puma 4 years ago when walking back to my camp ,i was all by myself ,tent set up and all. It was almost dark when i heard a noise behind me ,the road had heavy hoer frost on it and when that cat was running towards me i heard the crunching ,i turned to see a huge cat coming strait at me full charge ,all i had time to do is swing the gun around and point the gun at him and pull the trigger ,he swung sideways 20 feet from me and landed on the ground ,then shot off straight into the bush ,all i heard was the odd crack of this animal going through the bush. I still had a mile to go back to camp in the dark after this attack ,when i got back to camp i started the truck up ,turned the music up loud ,threw all my gear in the back of the truck ,headed 10 miles to another location ,slept in my truck that night and hunted the next day ,that is my story ,hunter 1947.
