Are there usable boat launches in the Upper Fraser/Hansard
area that I didn't notice before? I'll be on the water this yr
but not looking for long trips or especially aggressive
water. I'm trying to continue concentrating on an area
rather than burning fuel jumping around. Thanks.

I'm sure someone has tried this. Pm me if you
would rather that way. Thanks.

I always launch on the north side a few hundred metres down stream from the new 1 lane bridge. It' about 2-3 km up stream to the Bowron.

Keep an eye open when on the bowron. I had MANY near misses while floating/snorkeling the river upstream of the highway bridge with Jetboaters.

Unless the launch has improved , or it's a different one, you may need a winch and anchor vehicle, when wet. Been a few years since I've been there.

Hunting or fishing??

Hunting when it's open. Fishing is a good excuse to be on the water, but not a hhardcore passion yet.
