scope in maple ridge

I have found a spotting scope in Maple Ridge that i want to buy but I live in the Cariboo and dont really want to drive down there to pick it up. I also dont want to send the money down and have it shipped up in case it is a scam or the scope isnt in the condition i am told it is. anybody have any ideas on how i can get this scope without driving down or getting screwed.

Heck yeh we can stop off at one of the local pubs and tip a few maybe swap some lies,
tell you about my new rifle :mrgreen:
