Cool bull Wayne!!! Do you have any photos of how that middle antler came to be? Is it coming off the base or bottom of the left antler? Or is it growing from a third "base" in the middle of the skull?

Nice bull! That sure is whacky! we've shot a couple through the years that are strange but mostly from either antler injury...one we shot had 12 inches of arrow shaft in its back with the broadhead jammed right into the spine...that elk was running around like nothing was wrong with it. I'd say if that were me I would be a sorry mess! Sorry not tryin to derail your thread...just thought the horn growth might have been from something similar

Funny thing, both these elk came from the same drainage only about 300 yards away from eachother almost exactly one year apart...Didn't shoot the smaller one until he turned to head away cause I couldn't see the two other tines sticking off the back of the royal.

Nice rack, Wayne, and I wouldn't have been offended if you had posted it on my thread. :) I should have said that pics like this would be welcome.
Those are great racks also, ToddB.
