Kamloops area goose/duck hunting?

Anyone on here hunt geese or duck in the Kamloops area? I have never done it and don't know anyone that has or does. Are the ducks and geese around this area any good eating? Anyone hunting this spring goose season? I wouldn't mind trying it out but don't really know what to do or where to start. Anyone willing to have me tag along some time?
