When I looked around Youtube I wasn't able to find any good videos on judging Grizzlies ... so I put this together to help out my fellow hunters. Tell me what you think.
Enjoy!

Thanks for the video! Would love to see and hear some good pictures/video of anyone else with experience. This kind of stuff gets a guy fired up for spring!

There is an excellent video produced by the Yukon gov't on judging trophy bears. It's called, "Take a Closer Look" on this website:

Check it out.

enjoyable and informative. curious to know what the time lapse is between all the bears. snow levels are a bit confusing but it didn't detract from the purpose of the video. well done.

I believe I kept them in the order that we saw them. We saw 41 bears in 10 days. Here is the video of the hunt.

The video was great to show movement and rough size of large vs small. Thank your for putting it together.

What new grizzly hunters in BC do lack is education on telling the difference between male and female. Something far more important IMO to new grizzly hunters than seeking out a sow that happens to look large. Belly dragging, with small ears is not necessarily a shooter guys.

We as hunters need to do everything to we can to educate new hunters on the importance of selecting males. This species is on the verge of being shut down to hunting, and we really need to insist on doing our part.
