Saw my first cougar

Driving from Princeton to Coalmont yesterday morning. About 11:30 in the morning and there's a cougar crossing the road. Of course we don't have a camera and the cell phones were turned off because of no service in the area.
Anyway, it crossed the road went up the bank and then stood there for awhile. Long enough for us to back the truck up and get a better look. The it sauntered off into the trees
First time I have ever seen one in the wild and let me tell you I was sure glad I was inside a vehicle:-|

I saw my first cougar up stem winder about 5 years ago. And my dad saw a grizzly cross the road in front of him the same day

The ones that don't run away are the ones to worry about. They're cool to see in the wild even better from within the car!!
