The Coyotes were attacking pregnant cattle, and tearing fetuses out, and killing newborns, and chasing pregnant cows so they aborted them.
A group of ranchers said "Enough" and hired a chopper to put fear of man back into them.
Get it now?

I'm glad we can't use Heli's in BC to hunt. If we could every fat ass in the country would have a trophy sheep, elk and moose that otherwise they'd never have a chance at.

Only predator and wild hog management hunts can be done from a helicopter in some American states. For all other game it's not permitted. Personally I think hunting a coyote, wolf or hog overpopulated area with a helicopter is very effective in reducing the population efficiently.
