Not much of a storyteller but here goes.

Here we are, fall agian, and heading north once again for annual horse trip. After safe trip we all meet at the trailhead, Looking forward to what lies ahead. This year there will be three of us going on the trip my brother, a good friend, and myself.
Our pack string consists of three Riding horses and the Five pack horses, With extra soft Panniers for the riding horses , incase we're really successful. Headed in the Bush for 14 days of hunting .Here are a few highlights of the trip.
Had a few horse moments on the way and got them all figured out. Lol. Weather was from warm, to cool. We spent three days in one camp, and last 10 days in a final camp. Once we're in there we let the horses Feed, for the most part, And use our feet to hike and hunt. We saw some amazing country, hunted hard, used the horses when we were successful to cut down on the work.
We ended up taking three really nice moose, With measurements of 48 inches 53 inches 55 inches, for those who care about measurements. We ended up having to turn our riding horses, into Pack horses to carry the load on the way out.. Was definitely a long day, broke camp at 5:30 am and got to the trucks 8:30 PM that night, stopping for two Granola bars on the way out. I googled the track, when we got home and, it was about 36 km, A walk I would do again, to have hunt like we did. Not that I was saying that, when we got the truck at 8:30 that night though. Never realized on the amount of times, we crossed the creek, with horses on the way in. Anyways enough Storytellin, I will let the pictures, tell the rest of the story.

(if u have been there, keep it yourself)http://i435.photobucket.com/albums/qq79/JEARL49/bb4817f1d78a265c84357486466c4202.jpghttp://i435.photobucket.com/albums/qq79/JEARL49/67811aee2f9ccc1be134290ab6356cac.jpghttp://i435.photobucket.com/albums/qq79/JEARL49/3aa6539d7056ffbba5da4f97d33156c5.jpghttp://i435.photobucket.com/albums/qq79/JEARL49/87f66029512a20e01002e8d2c53cee3c.jpghttp://i435.photobucket.com/albums/qq79/JEARL49/c466df976e762e057bba27c4ae7df750.jpg

2 moose were called in, one shot @ 150y 7mm 160acc, other one was @ 180y 300 rum 180g . Mine was spotted day before, saddled up 2 pack horses up next morning. Was expecting him too be in the same bowl, had a cow with him. Climbed up the backside of the mountain crested the ridge, there he was. Set up the video camera took the shot buddy forgot to hit record. Lol Shot @ 330y 338 edge 300 smk..none of the moose went more than 20 feet.

camera is just a coolpix9 point and shoot.. I have Digital SLR but I find it too big to carry, does take better pictures though. And Horses is a big bonus when you're dealing with moose:mrgreen:
