Here's pics of a Cali I nicknamed "What If?" Last year he was really long on one side and heavily broomed on the other.

Yesterday, I went for a hike in the fog and found him again. Looks like he just recently broomed his long side.

Wow great pictures Dana it is amazing to see how one good scrap can change the appearance of a ram so quickly. I had trail cam pictures of a decent 5 pnt mulie then 3 hours later he returned with a broken main beam and missing 3 full points. Thanks for posting all the sheep pictures lately they all have been really nice.

There are a few crankers bigger than him in there. But if I ever drew the tag and "What If" wandered into the hunt zone I think I'd be tempted. :)

If they're broomed like that, but don't make full curl, how would one be sure of legality? I guess you could assume they make the minimum age???

No shooting Bighorns on age at all, if he brooms back past the legal line then he gets to be a nice old breeder ram !

X2 ...but these lots out there that just want to shoot any ram 3/4 curl GOS wonder how long that herd of bighorns would last with that type of season . Thanks Dana for posting them great pictures .

I'm shooting a 26x optical zoom with a 1.7x teleconverter.

There is an any ram LEH zone close to where these guys live. So if they were in the hunt zone they all would be legal for the lucky tag holder. If I had that tag I'd spend the entire season lookin over a ton of rams before I pulled the pin.

Yes very nice pics as usual. For the what if I would say look at the the member high caliber he has a few mounts in his gallery from road kills IIRC that are not broomed and they are huge, like that ram in the pic but not broomed. Very cool, world class cali's
