That looks like it will gross 200" to me, and probably surpass it. I am trying to dig up a live pic I have of a buck that eneded up getting shot by someone i know, it grossed 201" and your buck looks bigger to me.

SCORE??? Who cares, drop the sun-o-gun!!! :-D

I would figure a gross over 210", but maybe some heavy deductions for un-even for net...between 195-205. But has been said, hard to tell with these pics.

I say 215 he has good lengths as for a decent spread ,,it would be nice to see his main beam lengths,,, its nice to open this thread when I get up look at the picture first without looking at the other post and saying what my score is ,,I said 210 but when I viewed other posts I came across the same score that I said it would be so I will go a little higher at 215 LOL,,,,what a pig of a mule deer wish I had my cross hairs on him in the hunting season..

Whatever he scores it seems to me he must still be alive and you took the pic after the season closed or you would know. Thanks for posting, blurry or not it is nice to know that this buck will be trotting around BC next season with a rack that is potentially bigger, just nice to know they are out there.

I'd check him on the ground. What a pig!

Thanks for posting the pic! I'd guess around 205+. Is there an after photo? Wall mount kinda pic?

Cyrus
01-24-2013, 05:44 PM
Pic was sent by email to me a few days ago...guessing its circulating around with other hunters. Taken after the season closed from what I was told. I honestly am not a score guy...anything that big crossed my path I would be dropping it in short order...

Darksith
01-24-2013, 05:46 PM
so is it just a random, or do we know whether it was a BC buck?

As a typical he will not score well.
I know, everyone thinks he's big...and he is.
But there is no G3 on the right antler only a "kicker".

Still a very nice big that I would pull the trigger on any day.

dana
01-24-2013, 06:17 PM
Like I said hard to tell from those pics but he might just have 2 huge G3's there. If those are indeed the G3's then he has a Giant Frame.

I'd shake so bad I'd drop my rifle in the snow, trip over my jaw, and feel a certain warm wetness, all within a split second if I met up with that buck. He's a brute.

Haha, we don't get bucks like that in 8. Probably because of that month long "Any Buck" season ;). Not to mention those damn youth hunters who get an early opportunity!

If we're throwing guesses around I wont bother touching on the score its been beaten to death already but my guess would lean towards region 3....... strange how the healthiest deer pops and the biggest bucks are coing out fo that country these days. Depsite having the most liberal regualtions!

haha looks like some of the gut pile chasers will be checking that out next season ;)

I was up Jamerson this season and there were one hell of alot of bucks in there, some guys on the site have posted their big bucks taken from there. Im not sure if Jelvis is right but up Jamerson in the burn are where some dandys were taken this year, you dont need to be a gutpile chaser for that info.

Ferenc
01-25-2013, 01:53 PM
Thinking its a area with a low low density of hunters / pressure and even a low population of deer....all this does contribute to big deer....and this can be had in region 3..... as a matter of fact lots of pockets in this prov....look at Bruin buck....or the young lad that arrowed the 200 mulie in kamloops....or chickbunkers buck....all nice homegrown muleys!!!

Not having a chance in hell of putting my cross hairs on this buck during GOS second best thing would be having a stab at finding this guys antlers when he casts them off his head meaning now he might have already cast them off his head ???..

its still so early for muley sheds, some have dropped but majority are still packing. i would throw out a guess that 95% of the muleys where i am still have there antlers.

Lots of idiots shooting "safe" bucks on the island lately and getting pinched fortunately !
