I am planning spring hunt.

Please, if anyone can advise on condition of Table river road from recent experience ? Was there any logging activity at all ? I was there 2 years ago and road quite bit overgrown on sides, got pin striped my truck quite a bit. How far you can get there ,assuming no snow ? Can I get to BC rail tunnel ?

I realize in spring road conditions can be different.

Thanks
Sneg

Last spring there was a washout before I got to a
tunnel. I might have made it with my CCLB, but maybe not.

Sneg, I made it to boulder creek with my ATV's. Boulder creek was very high and swift, I wouldn't have crossed it! They are shipping coal along the rail line again, so crossing Boulder on the rail grade would be very dangerous! That is as far as most motorized folks got! No pick up access past where you were camped 2 years ago, maybe a few kms farther but not much. If I get up there again this spring I will let you know how things shape up!

If you're going to 7-23C, you can get to the back end of the next basin down, Holminka I think....Road's decent.

Some friends of mine from Bear Lake are gonna try and quad into the table from the Parsnip on thurs. I'll try and find out how far they make it. Plus 20's all week this week should be killing the snow pretty good. Just started consistently seeing bears on the way to Bear Lake last week.

road to tacheeda is washed out at about 10k, the connector from south/Chuchinka/Homininka is still in a foot of snow about 3 k from the Turnoff.

thanks drgame. I have 7 23C draw. Do you guys know would be Kennedy-Chuchinka Coldborne FSR passable alternative ? Or better to try Hominka river via Chuchinka FSR ? Thanks for comments.

That sucks about the road washing out, we plowed it out this winter, there was close to 5 feet just past the parsnip crossing, where we turned around.

Hominka rd had a little snow on it monday but drivable for sure. Colborne would get you in. Washout on Redrocky rd is only about 5km off from the highway. There is another washout on the Table rd. can quad through it though. No snow down low in the Table but all the avalanche shoots still have 3feet of snow in them.

Also forestry officers and CO's have been in there handing out tickets to people driving their quads without liability insurance and not wearing helmets.$350 ticket for not having liabilitiy and$80 ticket for not wearing a helmet. My friend was in there yesterday and got pulled over but he just got a verbal warning.

Sneg you will have to go in from the 700 rd. Go to 714, and take the 800 rd cross over to the Tacheeda rd. Washout is still present at 2034 and you will not get through it. Pretty green down low, still some snow on north aspects. Moosin

Thank you both. OK, so I can not get to Table road via Tacheeda. Is it possible to get there via PC2921 pass Goose lake and than via Anzac ? Is Chuchinka-Hominka road passable already ?

you can use Hominka rd to get into that side of the zone. use 700 -800 rd to get into Table.

Sneg, you can get to the Table via the 700 rd. Turn by the Winton Global sawmill before you get to bearlake (700 RD) follow it to 714km, then take a left onto the 800 rd. Follow the 800rd till you get to the tacheeda rd, by fish hook lake, just before the narrow canyon section of rd. Follow this rd past tacheeda lakes to the table FSR. Moosin
