Oops, wrong website

Oh wait a minute, I was talking about ducks. Got into a few wooducks for the last morning. Before anyone gives me a hard time the hen was collateral damage.

That is awesome!! I have never even seen a woody on the island!

Expect a pm next season when trying to complete my slam! Start thinking about what you want in return! :O) are they common down there for you john ?

Late season Woodys; probably the nicest looking duck out there!
I missed the last part of the season but my Doc figures I'll be back to work early Feb. so I'm looking forward to Spring Geese!

Already have one on the wall but I agree with Ian that they are very good eating.

good work John, what a differance it is here over Ont. where we would pass on the woodies while trying to get the mallards to decoy in. Some days we would have up to 50 woodies sitting the the pond in front of us while we waited for the "good ducks" to come. If you passed on a woody here people would shoot you.
They are great looking birds and make some of the best table fare. Don't fret about the hen, they taste just as good as the drakes and from the looks of her she is a nice mature bird to boot.
