I am wanting to know people's experiences with range finders targeted specifically for bow hunters. What range finders do you use and would you recommend one that attatches to the bow or one more versatile for both bow and rifle hunting? I hunt mainly in the rainland so one that works well in lml conditions would be best.

I'm looking around right now so if you have a used one that you want to sell pm me. Thanks

Vendetta.

Don't have one myself but it's on the wish list.

leupold rx 600, nice rangefinder for only 260.00. You dont need to be spending over 500.00 for one. Being a bowhunter, i would never step outside with a bow without my rf

Look for models with the "ARC" or angle compensation. Depending on how your bow balances you may like or not like the Vendetta

I am happy with my bushnell 1500 with arc ... great in bow mode ... reasonably accurate to 1000 yards ... perfectly accurate inside 500 for sure

Love my Vendatta, but also have a small Bushnell that has served me well for the last 6 or 7 years. I only use the Vendetta before a shot if needed. I use the Bushnell for general ranging at whatever.

I found a leupold rx600 online for 230 so unless I get some responses telling me of a better deal I think I will buy it tonight. As a bow and rifle hunter I opted against the vendatta as it wouldn't see a full season's use (yes I rifle hunt the anybuck season, I am scum)

Thanks for all your input.

I have the Bushnell 1200 ARC and love it... It calculates bullet drop for Rifle mode and the arc gives the the correct shooting distance for angled shots in Bow mode
