I am interested in hunting a cat this year and was wondering if there is anyone in the Grand Forks area that is willing to take out a newbie. Send me a pm if your interested.

If nobody replies get a bobber tag and head out looking for tracks. Once tracks have been located follow them in and set up calling. They usually hang out in the same general area... Ive taken 2 cats there now. I just put time in check for tacks and pound the spots I have seen them or there tracks and soon enough run into them.

Seen the calling work before. Never done it myself. Am lucky enough my uncle has hounds to get cat. But you never know I seen bobcats with dogs before while early spring bear hunts. But if your out in the grand forks better also get a lynx tags also. Best of luck
