That buck is a hawg Just goes to show what holding your tag can provide....A great last day buck! I got to watch him live for over 2 hours yesterday. It was a tough hunt and a tough stalk but Dana got it done with 2 hours to spare! It was definetely one of the most exciting and memorable hunts i have ever seen.

In all honesty Lora, you aint all that special either ;). That buck is a hawg, much bigger than anything you'll ever get! Just goes to show what holding your tag can provide....A great last day buck!

The entire season was the best season of my life. Started with the Opening Day whitetail with my son and ended with a Last Day Buck that I have been after for 6 years. To think next year will even be better as my son will have his own tags.

Dana thanks for all the memories, that was an unbeleiveable hunt with a awsome ending, i am just so stoked he finally hit the ground and matt and i were there to help with the dragging and pics!!!! Haven't seen WideBugger since the summer of 2004. Figure he probably was catscat a while a go. Still lookin' for his sheds though. Figure one day I'll find them in some Rhodo jungle chewed to $hit but still recognizable as his.

Man I am going to take a much deserved break for several weeks. I will be pounding back the Christmas Baking and trying to get back what I've lost. I already have several bucks lined up to focus on the next few years. The amount of bucks seen and passed on this year was by far the most I've encountered in one season. Never would have thought that we could have a year better than last year, but even with the trials and tribulations of this year, I think we all agreed this season Kicked Ass on last year.
