Well got invited out to the wack and did a field hunt was alot of fun.Shot a couple of small geese that worked right into the dekes. We were just off the flight line so we didn't really have to many work us. We had another flock that worked us but didn't finish. We could have/ should have shot into them, they were a little out there but just in range. Owell next time.
Then the next day we went out on the Harrison again. Was a good mixed bag. Had a lot of fun. We had to move our spread nothing was moving above the bridge so we went back to the spot that we were at before and started to see more birds.

Very nice! Your smile and pictures of success make me want to take up bird hunting again. Unfortunately, I sold my duck decoys to a fellow member this fall. Might have to go across the line for a couple of days and get some new ones.:-D

A couple of nice days our in January. Not the fastest hunts, both we stayed till about 2, however we enjoyed ourselves and digger got into some birds he's never shot before.

I shot my first buffle head, and my first really nice hooded merganser. (Both which will be going on the wall)

It was a great day to be out on the river for sure, when Dave told me to "lead 5 feet in front of the birds", he wasn't joking. some were probably 6-7 foot leads. Got some beauties for the wall myself, thanx John.
