Just think of the hunting you could do if you could get further, once the snow flies. I may start saving for a set now. The cool factor is huge on these!

Those are the best truck track system I have seen so far. I would rather buy a sled !!

Would think they would be of limited use when the snow is deep or traversing side hills could be trouble.

Snowshoes are cheaper, and you get better cardio. :D

That was wicked!!!! I have been looking at buying tracks for my quad but I wonder if my suzuki samurai would have the power to turn those things.

Not practicle, kind of gimmicky to much room for failure to rely on IMHO

yeah, talk about breaking down and being stranded in the bush! Imagine the bill to get your $40k vehicle out of the woods when you need a plow just to get to it with a tow truck. Cool factor huge, practical factor tiny. Stick to a sled, put tracks on a quad/utv, or get out and walk like the rest of us ;)

First of all, your vehicle would need a lift kit or there would be clearance issues, especially if traveling on uneven terrain such as cross ditches. Secondly, you'll notice the system is secured to the hub on the outside, but nothing on the inside, so it only relies on the side rollers to keep everything in place when on side hills or rough terrain. When you consider how regular snow track machines can throw off a track, imagine the potential damage to your vehicle if that were to happen with this bulky metal system.

Imagine having a log flip up and lodge itself between the top of the track'n'go and the body/wheel... ouch. I think I'd give this a couple years to see how they work. Would be great for buffalo huntin!
