Well guys looks like I got a new toy to try out this spring!

Wife bought me a new 3x9x40 Burris Full Field E1 scope with the ballistic E1 reticle for my 7mm rem mag!

Just wondering if anyone is using this scope and has anything to say about it good or bad?

A friend of mine has a Burris 3x 9 I think it is, very happy with it, its on a .325. I believe they are of good quality, I know it cost him a fair bit.

Burris seems to be making a decent product. I'd be happy with your new scope!

Thanks guys! Ive never owned a burris scope before and personally never thought of even looking at it but I guess she did her research and must have done a good job!

I had a fullfield II wish I never sold it...Very bright and clear. I would by another if I could get it for the same price.:(

I have a fullfieild 2 with the bullet drop comp reticle and really like it. Tough to beat for the price and mine lines up within 4" out to 500 yards.

Your absolutely right! It is very clear and bright.. apparently she said she got it for $279 at international shooting supplies in surrey.. and I now just found out there is a $50 rebate if you send in the original reciept to burris! SCORE!!! guess I might have to pick up some lens caps lol

I had a Burris Fullfield on my 7mm Rem Mag for 15 years. Always kept its zero, never any problems. I have since upgraded , but I just passed the Burris onto a new hunter who purchased his first rifle and I expect it to see many more good years.

Buddy had a Burris Signature that turned out to be a lemon, so he swapped it out for a Burris FF II and it worked great for years. I didn't care for the AO it had on it, but the scope was clear and held zero, which is what they're supposed to do.

Nothing wrong with a GF/Wife who spends money on hunting stuff....
