Wow Lorne, I was scared for a minute that you put my picture up. Are those sea ducks?

Is there a place to bag all of those in one area? Definitley wicked looking sea birds though. Also, would a long tail be fine with being smashed against the rocks like that? I think it would move to either water or land. Also, I don't know how snow would stay on rocks with the water splashing over it like that....unless it was really fresh snow, and if it was that fresh, why isn't there any on their backs? Also, oak doesn't hold wavey water normally, and does it grow in salt water?

They would be sea ducks, an Old squaw (bottom L) a Harlis (bottom R) and a King Eider on top if I'm not mistaken

Why you gotta be like that? hahhahahaha. I would love to see an old squaw on land. Maybe when we get a few next week, we can do them walking in a corn field?

KIng Eider
Long tail duck (old squaw)
Harliquin.

You can get the last 2 here, and there is a very small chance you can shoot a king here. Like next to none, but some have been spotted on birding websites. St Paul Island on the bearing sea (same place where Deadliest Catch is Filimed) is where you can go and shoot all three in one hunt.

Is there a story behind these birds. Who did the work for you. I really want to get some duck mounts done but no one up here does much in the bird line.

A king is by far the hardest to get, I got one on the St-Lawrence a few years ago:

I spend lots of time on the water (guiding) and only got one so far.
