In a great surprise, the gf's Dad gave me a couple of his old waterfowling books on Christmas day. He's an old school waterfowler from back east, and is the same guy who gave me a bunch of deeks that were made in the 1960s.

The first book is "The North American Waterfowler," printed in 1972 and still in pristine condition. Tons of great info on blind construction and location, decoys spreads, calls and calling, and much more. It's pretty cool to see this older info.

The second book is his field pocket guide for species identification printed in 1963. Full colour illustrations in this guide that he used to carry in the field.http://www.huntingbc.ca/photos/showphoto.php?photo=28992&title=book2&cat=500

Damn. Had hoped the photos would show up instead of the links
