Cant say I am from out east, but I know a family whop lives in Fernie, one of which of them has a trapping cabin on the Flathead and used to guide all over in those parts.

Anyone know if the flathead river area is any good for hunting? hes old so doesnt know these days.

Gorgeous country out there, thats for sure.

Lived in Cranbrook previously for 8 years. Just moved back. Can't believe I spent four years in the lower mainland. How stupid was that??

Was thinking of moving there, checked on real estate though, prices were very high, too close to Alberta I guess?

thats a laugh, prices are compared to what?Compared to Vancouver Island, similar sized houses/lots/small acreages, realtors concur with my observation, spoke to realtors in Cranbrook for this info.
