Met this morning with a hippie buddy of mine(no license) and kiel for a morning shoot, THe field was really muddy, so we loaded up the the best vehicle of our three and headed out. When we arrived the field was way to muddy to drive in so we set up our layouts on the road. A quick spray down with snow spray and we were off. Shot our 16 in short order and the 20 gauges were on point.

Some of this is true some isnt, but taking a picture of all the ducks on the hatch back of an escort is cool.

Hippies scare me. Especially that one. Is that a beard or mutton chops going on. What sortof crew you forced to run with over there man!

Ill take a limit on a ford escort any day of the week. Would be classify this car as a sticker truck?

You're just missing a couple wraps of duct tape to hold them on there.

Congrats on a great shoot.

Depends. If the feild is snowy and muddy 1 can per bilind is fine. But if you have inches of snow and are trying to white out your blinds i recommend 2 per blind. ( or better yet a snow cover) I sold my snow cover because 1 we dont get enough snow, and 2 its point less if you have one and everyone doesnt lol. After tomorrow you will be able to get snow spray at the dollar store for 50 cents a piece. 1 tip is to make sure the cans are warm. keep them in the house and truck till you are ready to use them, because they will freeze and become useless. As far as melting it doesnt melt per say, but it does rub off. you can usually get a day out of them without touching them up. If you arent moving them all over, just have to touch up the doors a bit. We use the same stuff you would put on your windows for christmas decorations.

Disclaimer this is for layout blinds, and probably wont work with a burlap special, a chicken wire do hickey, swan silos or any other concoction people hide behind!

Not nessecary, but if you actually wanted to know it was 2 full cans for 3 layouts. With a can in reserve depending on the how the weather changed etc. I fogrot to get pics of the blinds today, but it was a snow mud mix, more snow then mud.

Who's advice should I listen to. You guys or old time market gunners?? Hell I'd shoot a 8ga if they allowed me. I guess little guys can't handle the recoil.

How long does that muskrat on your face have to get before you're considered hippy Lorne?

Depends if it's on boat or land? On boat it would be considered a punt gun ;)

nope punt gun is a single barrel, a battery was/is multiple. batteries were the most common accompanied by a light, and in fact more ducks went to market from trapping then ever did by shooting.
