Got home from work early and since I didnt get out last weekend decided to hit our one ponds that always seems to work around a cold snap and snow. You will never see any ducks in this pond 95% of the time on any given time or day. But it's taken a few years to just know duck patterns and flights. When that cold is coming, just enough to send the ducks into a food craze but not enough to freeze the water its game time.
First drake down was a bull of bulls, head shot, he had a pellet through his eyeball and I think I'll roast him and naw the bones clean mmmm

And so you couldnt stop then. Nothing like hunting in the snow.
