Still amazed at how so many honest people aren't aware of the regs. Heres my question...

you shoot 2 mule deer bucks, 1 in reg 7, 1 in reg 3. Can you then go to VI or reg 1 and shoot a blacktail buck?

I wish I had that problem, I don't have the regs so im just saying what I think (I would confirm if I was in this situation) but the provincial bag (excluding Queen Charlottes) is 3. So my answer would be yes they can.....

well, i've always been aware of how the regs apply to me.
i hunt between region three and region 8.
so i can take three deer, two mules and a white, or two whites and a mule.
but the same breed can't be taken twice in one region.
i've never had to consider going to a third region for a deer, but i would say that yes, it would be legal.
three deer from three regions.

Yes. Provincial bag limit is 3 deer (combination of wt and md) and each region has their own bag limits. The exception to the 3 deer provincial limit is the Queen Charlotte Islands.

Not sure but I thought if you had a Doe Draw you could take two mulies from same region

The PROVINCIAL bag limit for deer is 3. So yes one could take the 3rd blacktail (mule) provided one has not shot any other deer such as White Tail. Pretty clear in the regs. Do you not know or are you just wanting to see who doesn't?

Yes you can it says in the regs it is up to you the hunter to make sure you buy/fill no more than 3 mule deer tags or 3 WT tags under the provincial bag limit of 3 deer per hunting licence per hunting season. The exception is where you can take 15 of those small deer on the hidi gwaii islands or whatever that is...

excuse me while I attempt to pull my foot outta my mouth lol. Was always under the impression that you were only allowed 2 mule deer bucks province wide, and had to take the 3rd deer as either a whitey or a doe...apparently I am the moron after making a bet with a buddy lol...

I wondered why the original question was asked, Darksith. Good on you for clarifying. Anyone who can admit a mistake and laugh at themself in the process has my respect. I'm sure others have learned from this thread regardless.

You maroon! :-D
