Has anyone here heard if MOE is planning to allow hunters to use auto callers for snow geese? I know that the flat land provinces allow them in some areas as well as in some US states but not here in BC.

Imagine that....

E-callers are legal for snows, and the sky didn't fall on our heads. ;)

I was saying "I have no probelm with e callers for snows" not that they are legal. We are once of the few provinces where they are not legal. which to me is gay

Ahh, I see. How utterly silly BC can be at times. :)

Well, having hunted snows in Manitoba a few years ago and spending 5 hunts listening to electronic calls I for one have NO interest in them. They about drove me over the edge. What an annoying racket!!! Took away from the whole ambience of hunkered down hunting. Just in case I'm not clear.. They are loud and awful to listen to.

And that's hunting sections of land too Tanya. There isn't someone else 200 yards away with the same getup.

I didn't mean to start a huge discussion on the auto callers. I was just trying to see if I had missed something in the Regs as my understanding is that the auto callers are still illegal here in BC.
