How dose a Black Bear learn what to eat even when not by her side and never eaten it before?

I had a grizzly kill a 900 lb heifer in the corrals a few years back. He then carried her over a 5 ft. rail fence without breaking a pole. He wasn't strong enough for one of Lay's foot snares or the 300 WM that came after though.

Bears are predators. They can take out many calf moose. So its good to hunt the larger boars. Especially if it is an area you enjoy to hunt!

Great footage! Will be a decent boar next fall.

Cool Video , im not a fan either of bear meat.. but if you get a chance to try bear sausage its pretty dam good with pork fat mixed in.
