View Full Version : This wolf photo doesn`t appear to be an internet legend.

I know this wolf had shown up a couple of times in some of the wolf threads....but I didn`t have time to go digging for it after my Dad sent me this article.

Mind you if you wait 2 years it WILL start making the circles that it was shot or trapped anywhere from Squamish to the Florida Everglades.

It already has. That image is in circulation for at least two years. and locations where it has been taken change as frequently as the image appears on forums and websites.

Actually it hasn't. I have a good source :wink: with DNR in Winnipeg who lives about 30k from where it was trapped.

HW....do you have archives of this particular doggie and did you look at the link, article and image? Interesting that if it has been around for a couple years that it hasn't shown up here or on other forums OR in the Wpg media until 2-3 weeks ago.

Just sayin......there was the big black wolf from AB that has made it's rounds but this one is not 2 years old as it would not have just popped up on here in a number of threads in the past few weeks or on BC Fishing Forums or MB, SK and AB hunting forums......plus the verification I have heard.

I think HW has the pics mixed up and is referring to that other pic of the guy standing in the snow hoisting up a large wolf which has graced a lot of forums over the last 2 years or so. This pic now i have never seen till today.

Interesting that Manitoba has a $250 per wolf incentive for trappers in areas where moose populations are at risk.
