Ive heard through the grape vine a bunch of guys got together that didnt really know each other, killed a bunch of birds, got muddy and got a truck stuck in field. Is there more to the story? :D

Not only did the truck get stuck, but someone may have punched a hole into one of his rims, before getting unstuck and the re-stuck 15' from freedom
pics might make it up tomorrow. I tried my damnedest to scare off the CR fella's but they say they are interested in shooting again....lol

Don't forget the part where the spare was under the truck and the truck was up to it's belly in muck. Luckily someone had another spare at home.

It was indeed good times...A hunt without an adventure is then just a long hike through a muddy potato field!!!

And the best part is; its a whole lot nicer when you call the better half to tell her that you will be late when its not your truck!!!

Thanks for the adventure and as crazy as it seems, I cant wait to do it again!!!

The shooting of 5 buffleheads was not what i was hoping for. More of the usual plethora of Cans and bluebills we usually see around at this time of the year. But it wasnt so, last night anyway. Gonna try again this weekend before heading back to BC.

Unfortunately no pics... it was quite late by the time I dropped Viper off and got home. Knew that today was a wash for "processing" so ended up cleaning everything last night and never thought about clicking a pic or 2 until after they were carcases.

I think the tally was 12 Mallards and 6 Widgeon, and oddly enough the legs were very very well looked over before loading!!!

Wow, I have seen a lot of stuck trucks, but can say I have never seen a rim break like that. Only thing that I would guess did that was just the right size rock between the rim and the caliper.

Warranty cover that?

It's a first for me too Keith, I've bent and seen rims get busted. But never on the inside like that and always on the outside lip. I'm waiting to here back from the manager but I'm not holding my breath, they will argue agressive use etc.
I order a new steel wheel from Kal should be in tomorrow or the next day

Holy crap that is a frickin hole alright. Did you get her cleaned up enough for servicing? I tore my shotgun apart today, glad I did cause there was half a fracken potato field in it. Did up some breast strips in a Thai stir fry. YUM YUM.

Just saw that video clip. That is frickin cool. I bet it's not as much fun as laying in a cold wet layout blind in a field of potato muck. LOL
