It'll take a while. I would guess 6 - 8 weeks at a minimum.

You can check the progress online..... to a certain degree.

If in 8 weeks it's not back post again and we can tell you who to call to try and speed things up a bit. Well, hopefully speed it up a bit.

I've been hearing 2-3 months but those are RPALs. My uncle just got his and he submitted it end of Sept and just received it a week ago. Should be quicker for regular PAL

Edit: I should add he had to call a few times to keep it moving.

Have our overlords contacted you to go for the fingerprinting and DNA sample part of the application process? It usually takes about 3 weeks after they have your fingerprints and DNA. It gives them time to check out your samples for any unsolved crimes.

It has being over 6 month for my GF friend and she still hasn't gotting it yet, every time she call it's "ya it approved" buuuut we are still waiting for "this or that's," she's ready to give up on it, the RCMP sure take there sweet time on it but on the other hand my boss got his with in 6 week of sending it in and they did with in a week of each other,

this fall had 3 friends send in all came back 43-45 days my 4th friend still doesn't has been months

I just got my renewal back for a regular pal after only a month.

So pick problem. I got my wife to send it off but I said can u put a cheque in there for 60. But she forgot and sent it off. What are my options. Can I call tomorrow before it arrives tell them and give them my credit card info.
