Has anyone heard or recommend Black power Tannery in Surrey?

I have a Bison I would like to make into rug.

http://www.blackpowdertannery.com/

As of this summer B C Furs (now called Pacific Tanning) no longer does fur and after reading the threads on North Surrey Tanners, I would appreciate feedback.

I've heard of him but that's about it.
I know he was once a player of Team, Jim Shockey (guided for).

I have not seen any of his products or have heard any feedback.
IIRC he's ben set up there for ~2years.

Not sure which one d6dan is posting, but I'd also suggest Flint Fur in Cranbrook and Advance Fur in Vernon

Nobody would do a bison hide last year in BC without charging an arm and a leg. It got the cape and the back half of the hide tanned at International for less than a cape would have cost me in BC. Quick turn around time and great to deal with.

Don't know what shipping would cost.

Ya that doesnt surprise me one bit Goatguy.....prices in the US are substantially (exponentially) cheaper for tanning it seems...

Thank you everyone for your recommendations.

I will be shipping the Bison hide to Stanley at Western Fur Tannery 12840 53 St NW (http://www.google.com/url?sa=D&oi=plus&q=https://maps.google.ca/maps?ie%3DUTF8%26cid%3D12076695873991208327%26q%3D Western%2BFur%2BTannery%26iwloc%3DA%26gl%3DCA%26hl %3Den) Edmonton, AB T5A 0B5. He took the time to provide the best advise and offers his service at a reasonable $19 per square ft. , turn around is less than 4 months, deposit $250. The do alot of Alberta bison

I also contacted International furdressers out of Winnipeg, No depsit required, pretty good service over he phone, $21 per sf . I have left a message with Black Powder Tannery they have yet returned my call.
