Covering barrel end??

Just wondering what everybody uses to cover there barrel end in our crappy BC weather? Electrical tape? And do you shoot through it?

i use tape and shoot through it .no problem .

Use Red Green speical " Duct tape" works great and yes shoot right through

Barrel cotts work like a tiny condom (roll them on) are a neat idea, but they tear and fall off very easy. Waste of money.

Party Balloons work awesome, but they tend to get torn off if you're pulling the gun in/out of a scabbard. They are way better than cotts however.

Electrial tape is about as good as it gets. Stuff stays out, and bullets have no problem passing through. The only time I've ever taken it off before a shot is...well...never.

never used tape before, but i might give that a try. i have a muzzle brake so a balloon works good.

Electrical tape and I shoot through it, doesn't affect accuracy for the distances I usually shoot at(less than 200m). I've tried it out at our local range and my groups don't seem to be affected out to 300m. Can't really say what happens after 300m though since our range is limited to that.

TAPE! Wrap extra aound it and u can always peel it back and over the barrel again after u shoot

I always peel tape off, and clean any residue so it doesen't damage the blueing before I shoot game.......

The gas from the bullet going off blows the tape out long before the bullet gets to the muzzle. Have at er.

i don't know why i've never thought of tape.
i always use a piece from a plastic bag and just rubber band it on.
think i just picked it up from pa.

i don't know if my gun barrel is huge, or my dick is just wee, but my condoms fit perfectly.

Black tape. Wrap some extra around ur barrel just in front of your stock and your good to go.

I don't use anything, did used barrel caps in the desert.black tape would work well.
