big bill camo

Just a short review.

i bought the big bill camo pant and jacket. supposed to be waterproof breathable.

the jacket is wpb but the way the cuffs and hoodie are made, they wick water up into your arms and head. highly annoying.

the pants leak like a sieve. i was out in hard rain open country for 20 minutes and got soaked to the bone.

now i am looking for a waterproof breathable camo or green pant that is supple, quiet and really works - any suggestions?

I have yet to find waterproof gear that actually breathes (outside of spending a million dollars).

Core4Element is something I have heard very good things about.

Supposed to be on par with Sitka, but at less than half the cost.

I've yet to see waterproof/breathable, when the outside humidity is 100%.

That said, if you want waterproof and fairly quiet, the Helly Hansen Impertech stuff is pretty good, and priced reasonably too....

i have the big bill stuff it kept me dry all season guiding. i also use the big bill fleece jacket and pants and its great but the waterproof gear isnt really that good but u get what u pay for!
