Last year was a very horrible year for us both health wise and financial. Peter had the slowest year with his business. Because things were so tight, he didn't get out to do much hunting or fishing. We had a boat that didn't see much water and hunting gear that didnt see much blood. This year is much better. The company has become busy once again. It is so busy that Peter thought "great now I'm too busy to hunt and fish" but he thrives on making time. After a few unsuccessful trips into the woods and not seeing critters, never mind harvesting a critter, he felt discourage until this passed sunday. With a great friend with magnificient knowledge of promising hunting grounds, Peter went off with his bow. He said he had a really good feeling about the day.4am came fast and off they went into the woods. The area was beautifully dusted with snow and tracks in abundance, a honey hole was born. Seeing deer a plenty bounding gleefully and having not a care in the world. They came upon a nice 4 point which got the adreneline pumping but it was too far away to make a conscientious shot with his bow. Unfortunately the deer got away. Still managing to see pleanty of doe meant there had to be a few more bucks close by.Yup, Peter's buddy quickly stopped the truck and right there in their plane as day view was a nice meat in the freezer buck. Peter got out of the truck, loaded his bow and "poof" arrow flying "thud" and the deer jump and went crashing. Peter was 100% certain he hit that buck but his buddy said it looked like he shot just over it. Peter told him nope he is hit guaranteed. Sure nuff after follwing a trail, Peter's buck was found and sure nuff, he hit with a direct kill shot.Peter has now what he calls his "trifecta" , he has harvested a white tail, a black tail and a mulie with his bow. His confidence has risen 200% which is a good rush because he is off again today to meet a couple buds alreading in camp, to hunt with for a few dayshttp://sphotos-g.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash3/p206x206/574522_10151298116470339_906933196_n.jpghttp://sphotos-h.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash3/533926_10151298116430339_2032629115_n.jpghttp://sphotos-f.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/315836_10151298116380339_2064275852_n.jpg
