Wet and grouse don't go well together. If you are thinking of hunting grouse right now you are a little late in the season as well.

Early fall as soon as upland game birds open and before deer season. Sunny days. If you serch you should find some posts on locations to check.

i've been faithfully pounding the gravel around squamish since august and have seen 3 grouse. and they are skittish. on three trips into the placer mountain area between eastgate and princeton i've seen about 30. and they are much less skittish. my 13 yr old son took one for his first hunting and first bow kill. single shot. it was awesome.

there are lots of grouse in the Chilliwack valley. If you go up high in sept/oct you'll find nice big Blue's. I had one mounted a few years ago. biggest Chicken i've ever seen... good luck!
