first muley

Just got back from my trip in region 3 last weekend. had a wicked 10 days off and lucked out and bagged my first muley. we hunted extremely hard for the whole trip and in the end i shot this guy out of a slash one evening. deecent deer with a nice big body. was pretty exited to get him on the ground.

thanks guys. i had another 4 point that i was watching for about 45 min but he was about 600 yards away and slowly working in. also he had a MASSIVE 3 point with him that i could have killed 100 times but not legal...grrrrr. but anyways the 4 point finaly started to parallel me and i could see he wasnt going to get any closer so i ranged him at 500 and got behind my gun. i wasnt going to take the shot but when i got behind the rifle i was extremely solid and felt very confident that i could make the shot. so it was on, as soon as he walked out of the stand of trees i was going to squeez on off. well he never came out lol. no idea where he went. also saw a nice 4 point on our way out but he was on ranch land.
