I've been working up in northern BC this whole hunting season and have had very limited time to hunt. With a two-week in and one week out schedule it is tough to hunt and still spend time with the family. Anyone have any advice for a last chance muley up in the region 3. I'm thinking the Kamloops area??? Thanx as always.

Find the tracks and find the deer! Still hunting open timber, glassing south facing slopes etc. they're still in rut so hunt the does. Tunkwa sounds pretty popular!!

X2 with the does. Many a time during the rut when i see the the does i'll sit and watch them. Usually mr buck isn't too far. Sometimes he's just bedded down 20 yards or so away from them watching the flock.

Below 4500 ft it's like walking on potato chips, above is fine.

Rained below 4500 2 days ago, frozen now. 8-12 inches of fresh snow near 5000ft.

Get up high and glass. Peak into isolated bowls/pockets if you can find them. Not uncommon to find little 'breeding parties' right through to the end of the season at higher elevations.
