local duck call makers?

Are there any call makers in the fraser valley? Looking to turn some calls and it would be nice to find a local maker to chat with.

I don't know, or at least I haven't heard of any call makers in the Fraser Valley, however there are a lot of people in the south eastern US that make calls. What you need to know is that any of these people just turn their barrels on a lathe but rely on companies like Echo to provide the inserts and reeds etc. Although many of these calls sound good the credit for that that lies with Echo and other insert manufacturers. If you want something made from scratch you need to find the real call makers that also turn and cut their own inserts. Some of those guys/gals create works of art.
